At the track tonight to train by myself, but at least I had someone to warm up with. Starting my warm up right on 5pm, 11 degrees... I took off for 3 laps of the Complex with young Justin joining me for the final two. I did some dynamic stretching whilst chatting with Burkie about my plan for the upcoming w/e, then onto the track for some drills and then 4x90m strides, where I started at 10k pace and continued to get faster every 10m, jogging back and then turning immediately.
Quite cool tonight I kept my jacket on for the first rep, 4x1000m was the plan, but I decided after 200m I would do 5x800m instead (no real reason, just did). Rep times were excellent; 3:05, 3:05, 3:05, 3:05, 3:06 & 92. Yep I decided to do a final 400m, no real reason and no real purpose, just did. I then completed a lap of the complex with Clare for my c/d and her w/up.
Then changed and sat down to stretch for 10 min whilst watching Clare completed my set session (600/500/400/300/200 all the same pace with 90 sec recovery).
