Tue 05 Jun 07, a shit track session
Warm up on the track tonight, 4 laps in in lane 8 in reverse, a few drills and then some light stretching. Session with Adam K, hoping to run 600/800/1000/800/600, 90 sec per lap with 45 sec break (with a plan to let that out to 60). In hindsight, some strides would have been good.
Within 400m I knew my legs were still VERY heavy and hitting 90 sec per lap was not going to happen tonight and completing my set session wasn't happening either.
Splits:
2:17 (600)
2:56 (800)
1:29 (400), rested 30 sec then ran 200m in 46
2:20 (600)
2:20 (600)
Finished off with 4 laps and 10 minutes of stretching whilst watching Clare & Carly complete the session that I set.
