Gym and a regular track set...

In the gym just prior to 6:30am, some gentle weights to warm up and then a 35 min set of shoulders, chest and upper back with some oblique lifts.

I arrived at the track at 4:45pm, strangely very quiet. I arrived at the same time as Luke (9 min 3k runner), for those who don't know Luke he is Cam's age and has continued to train very well evening though he has worked through a hairdressing apprenticeship and missed many races due to work, but still managed 9:01 last Tuesday night. We chatted and jogged five laps before Zac arrived and we continued on for another 3 laps. With the Pacific Sch Games & Aust All School Champs in ACT, we are missing many coaches and athletes (12 Wes Aths competing), so I looked after Burkie's group (most knew their session), mainly two girls who were to join my group, but one played funny buggers so I ignored her and moved on, the other trained magnificantly.

The set for the group with varying times depending on their current 800m form was a set we have done many times; 4x200 / 2x400 / 1x600 / 2x400 / 4x200

My times:

I cooled down and chatted with young Bec (Burkie's squad), a lovely girl.

I must try and get out and see a bit of it this weekend. Some great times already from the youngsters - looks like tailwinds for the sprints.

Good consistent session from yourself. I hope you can log another 200ks (or more) in December.
