Tue 16 May 06, another day of NO running

0km today and for the week so far, 9/16 runs this month

Yes at the MDC I spent a little bit of time complaining about my world, thanks ladies for the reminder....but to be honest not many things are not good a the moment. Last night was not pleasant, feeling very unwell and ending up waking 3am in a cold sweat and bowing to the porcelain bowl, this experience was ongoing most of the morning.

Got into to see my doc at 10am with a very swollen chest (probably double the size it was on Sunday) and now very red. Spent the majority of the day in hospital on antibiotics via a drip, after much complaining they let me out at 5pm, but back to the Dr tmw, if no improvement I will be back to the hospital. No work for the entire week, resting up.

Which in turn means no running...which means a stressed Stu because he cannot run his problems into the ground. :-(

I can send you my video tape of the commonwealth games marathon. Or you can read all my backcopies of runners world and R4YL.

Just think of all the running things you can do!!! (aside from actually running)

You could even sit down and plan your comeback and your next 12month plan for racing, when you may need new shoes etc etc.

Look on the bright side that you will have all this time to do these things. In between rest as wel :)

Hope they can get you fixed up today Stu and you don't get stuck at the hospital for too long :(

Lucky you have Foxtell or you'd be really stuffed!
