10 Feb 06, Yarra River

13km today and 58km for the week so far. 8/10 runs this month & 32/41 runs for the year

In the city and off for my run just before 7am, jogged a lap around the Barracks (just under 5 min) stopped out the front and did some basic stretching then off up St Kilda Rd, across the Yarra and down the stairs off to MacRobertson Bridge and then back along the other side of the river and back to work. Cruised for the first 40 minutes and then upped the tempo to 4:20ish pace and the final 5 minutes was at my 10k race pace. Felt great.

Finished off with 25 push ups, 25 crunches, 20 p/up, 20 crunches, 15, 10 & 5

Well I saw it before you deleted it Stu.

Big Hugs.

Life is like a running race....it hurts, sometimes you struggle and then there is glory in finishing.
Along the way you get the satisfaction of knowing you are putting in your best effort.

So keep putting in your best effort - there are those that this benefits though they may not tell you all the time.

Hope you got out for a long run today :)

thanks Clairie, somethings are just there to test us all I think.

Didn't get a long run in today, did race a 3k PB, so happy about that! :-)
