Taking advantage of flexible working hours, I organised with my boss to get to work between 11am-12 noon, I took the morning off to go out to Bundoora to watch three girls I coach compete in their XC Champs representing their school in Year level races.
After crawling out of bed at the respectable time of 7am, I decided I could go for a light stroll as running this weekend will be minimal with my boys staying over etc.. So I went and ran a 5km course I have measured along Skeleton Creek.
Racing was very good, 3 top ten finishes, 4th & 6th in the Year 7 race and 7th in the Year 8 race. Claire (4th) ran a GREAT race and was very close to 3rd, a girl she has never beaten before, but all ran very well, but Claire's was a standout.
