10km today and 50km for the week so far. 10/14 runs this month & 57/73 runs for the year
The last couple of hours at work I started to feel like I was starting to get a 'lurgy' coming on, hmmmm, will I train, in 2 minds, didn't feel great and I don't really want to run myself into the ground, I was hoping for another good week of hard work. So I increased my water intake and got myself some Blue Herron.
Arrived at the track about 5:15pm, picked Cam up from work on the way there, his first day back after his break. Started with 5 laps, clockwise in lane 8, then an extra lap with drills. Some stretching, 5x 60-70m run throughs and then checked with Burkie for the planned session, 6x1000 @ 90ish per lap, with 60-75 sec breaks. The wind may play havoc with the session, but he wanted me to work through and complete the entire session.

Finished off with 1 lap and some good stretching, was starting to chaff, so I cut the cool down out.

Hope you can keep that lurgy at bay Stu. Then again, if it sets in you might have to take time off work and watch the Comm Games while you recover :-)
