Harley U14, Daniela & Brittany U13, Morgan & Aliesha U14
Today Werribee only had 5 athletes competing in the U13> group, Harley is coached by me, but I was asked by the coach to look after Morgan and Aliesha is coached by Burkie but does spend a lot of time with me also.
Overall a satisfying day, Harley finished 11th in his first State Multi, PB'd in one event and ran first in his 800m heat and was only 1 sec off his PB and ran a very smart race in average conditions. Aliesha finished 8th and was very excited with her day. Morgan sadly finished 4th, her discus just let her down too much, this was the first year out of 5 years that she hasn't medalled. She didn't have a good 800m either, 2:27 gave her second, but with a 2:17 two weeks ago she missed out on valuable points and considering she lost 3rd by 4pts.. oh well.
Myself, Connor & Declan finished the day in the Warrnambool surf, whilst Jo had a family issue to deal with. :-(
No running again, but lots of time on my feet.
