My schedule was for a 40-50 minute steady to strong run. So I started at home and did my 10.5 to 11k run around my local area. Started steady and tried to concentrate on my form for the first 15 minutes, then I deliberately picked up the pace and tried to remain focussed on finishing hard. I knew I was moving along and tried to hold the 10k style pace until the end.
Slightly untidy at the end but a PB for this course by over 10 seconds, very happy. Lots of stretching afterwards.

"Slightly untidy at the end"....really Stu Mac, that's unforgivable! You should see me at the 'finish'...now that's often, not just untidy, but rather a real mess!
