So still no running to talk about, but I have started writing a plan for the coming month/s, now I just need the sports physician to agree....
No matter what is said on Wednesday, I need to do something re my training.
It is official, I am putting extra kgs where Stu DOES NOT want them and I can NO longer use the I'm not running excuse!!!

Oooh the mind boggles as to where you would not want those extra kg's Stu... :0)
lol..at jays comment.. hopefully the news will be all good and you can run with me...and be as bossy as ever :)
That must be so frustrating. If you can't train as intensely as you were your only option is to to reduce intake. Easier said than done, I know.
Hey Stu, do you mind if I ask you an athletics junior coaching type question? If yes, tell me to bugger off, I won't mind, if no, thanks. My next door neighbours have a 12 year old daughter, and I have been asked if I would mind if she ran with me a bit as she is training for a cross-country for school, which is 3km. I know this is a bit like asking "how long is a piece of string" without you knowing or seeing her, but in general at that age, what distances or speeds would be "pushing too much". She is tall and athletic looking, but I have no idea about her capability. I have a bit of experience coaching kids in basketball, so I don't think I will do anything silly and can read her signs on how she is going, but do you have any general advice for this age group?
